  Cadbury Schweppes’s annual trade investment is in excess of $500 million and is increasing in a faster rate than the rate of its revenue growth. Cadbury Schweppes considered its management of trade investment as an important profitability driver. Cadbury Schweppes needed a more in-depth analysis of its trade investments.    
  Boston Software Solution    
  Accenture Consulting was delegated to do an in-depth analysis of the current trade investments of Cadbury Schweppes and to define its future strategies. Key components of the in-depth analysis carried out by Accenture were the development of the Trade Investment Performance Effectiveness Evaluation Tool (PEET) and the Trade Investment Data Mart.

In collaboration with Accenture, Boston Software designed and developed PEET & Trade Investment Data Mart for analysis of Cadbury Schweppes trade investment effectiveness. Trade Investment Data Mart extracted and stored trade investment data from various Cadbury Schweppes internal SAP systems. It also extracted and stored supermarket retail sales information from an external sales data supplier - A.C.Nielsen - to present a single version of the truth.

Business intelligence information is delivered to Cadbury Schweppes decision-makers in the form of answers to highly strategic questions. Delivery format includes dashboards, analytical reports and data mining facility.
