Coles and Bi
Lo stores were moving to a fully computerised system to receive
delivery dockets and invoices electronically. However, some of the
small suppliers needed more time to migrate into this new electronic
network. Coles and Bi-Low stores needed a new module to handle these
paper-based delivery dockets from small suppliers who were not ready
to integrate into Cole Myer's new electronic Invoice and Delivery
Dockets Management System.
Since changes to new SAP supply change management system is expensive
the decision makers needed a cost effective prototype system to
test the automation of processes that matched paper based delivery
dockets with invoices from smaller suppliers. |
